The Eastern Africa Real Estate Conference is an eminent annual event, bringing together practitioners and industry stakeholders in the Real Estate environment. The high-profile event is organized by Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), The Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK), The African Real Estate Society (AfRES) and The University of Nairobi. It seeks to discuss prevailing industry trends and informing the delegates on a variety of facets currently affecting the real estate industry within the region through regional industry captains, senior government officials and profession institutions. It also acts as a regional conference for its international organizers which include; Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and The African Real Estate Society (AfRES)
Last year’s conference held on 6th – 8th July 2016 at Radisson Blu attracted over 200 delegates from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and South Africa. The two-day conference covered technical and poster sessions on issues relating to our industry, while also an in good sessions networking and socializing.
In a period where there is greatly global interest, it’s prudent as practitioners to advance networks as we look beyond our professional comfort. Sessions will be guided by key note speakers, panel discussions, presentation of peered reviewed papers and breakout sessions. The third day will have a golf tournament and an industrial visit.
